Usami doesn’t really get gender because she’s a rabbit and at first separated everyone into bears and bunnies groups depending on what they brought with them to school and how commanding a personality they had. People like Nidai and Akane and Sonia went into the bears group, and people like Komoeda or Souda or Mikan went into the bunnies group.
Mahiru gets confused, because she is used to most classes being divided into boys and girls and Usami blinks at her for a moment before apologizing and saying “I’ve never heawd of those animals befowe….would you like me to incwude more gwoups Koizumi-chan?” and Mahiru just is taken aback and laughs about it instead.
Gender has no place on heartful field trips of course!

Have you ever liked something that was considered ‘strange’ by others? Maybe you like something unpopular or really obscure, and the people who do know about it don’t like it.
And then they say rude things about you, just because you like that thing. It’s really terrible, isn’t it?

Whatever you like is automatically good because you like it. My interest is in video games, and even though people might call me ‘nerdy’ or ‘a loser,’ I still think it’s good.

one time I was working at Dolly Parton’s water park as a photographer in the lazy river, and taking pictures and what not and I look up and see this very familiar black man floating in a tube toward me.
and it is Akon. So I’m like ‘hey Akon would you like a picture with your family today?’ He is all like ‘no thank you sweetie’ and I was all “well you have a good day, Akon”
he said you too and floated on.
